The Imperial Festival returned for a fourth time on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May 2015. Due to popular demand, the Festival ran over the whole weekend. What started as a modest pilot project in 2012 to explore how Imperial College London might share its research with more people in new ways has now evolved into a large-scale and prominent annual fixture in the College’s calendar. This year, thousands of visitors attended Imperial’s South Kensington campus to enjoy the interactive demonstrations, workshops, tours, talks and performances on offer at the 2014 Imperial Festival.
Staff from the Undergraduate Teaching Unit in Imperial College's Department of Public Health and Primary Care laid on a series of events and demonstrations to give visitors at the festival insight into the work of the NHS, with a focus on the work of GPs and other primary care staff, as well as advice on healthy eating and healthy living.
